Governance and Administration

Dixon Park Surf Life Saving Club (DPSLSC) Inc. – ABN 36 248 962 500, is an incorporated association per the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (the Act) and is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC). DPSLSC Inc. (the Club) is a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) and is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).

The Club is affiliated with Hunter Surf Life Saving Inc. (HSLS or the Branch), Surf Life Saving NSW (SLSNSW) and Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA). The Club conducts its activities in accordance with SLSA, SLSNSW & HSLS policies and regulations which can be found at Surf Life Saving Australia, SLSNSW & HSLS. The Club’s affiliations and membership of each of these organisations reinforce the club’s commitment to the core values and goals of SLSA.

Executive Committee for 2023 - 2024

Subject to the Constitution and the Act, the Executive Committee is responsible for the proper management of the business and affairs of the Club.

As a minimum, the Executive Committee will meet the governance standards prescribed by ACNC.
