Dixon Park Surf Life Saving Club offers a beautiful backdrop for private functions. Just 45 minutes from Newcastle Airport and 5 minutes from the historic city centre and port, this hidden gem is the perfect location for your next event.

Events We Host
We cater to birthdays (no 18th or 21st), engagements, weddings, family reunions, charity fundraisers, business launches, corporate functions and seminars, post-wedding get-togethers, and celebration of life functions (wakes). Whether it’s a small intimate dinner or a large celebration, Dixon Park offers arguably the best natural ocean view in NSW.

Hiring Information & Pricing
Here are some general costings to give you a ballpark idea before making your enquiry. Final pricing depends on the day, type of function, time of year, number of guests, and length of booking.

• Room Hire: Weekdays $400, Friday & Saturday nights $800, Sundays until 2pm $400, Weekend weddings $1,100
• Cleaning Fee: $150
• Bar/Floor Staff: approx. $60 per person, per hour (as required)
• Kitchen Use: $200 (if self-catering or if your caterer requires kitchen facilities)
• Minimum Bar Spend: $500–$1,000 (depending on event)
• Refundable Bond: $1,000

Food & Beverage Options
With help from our preferred professional caterers, we offer a variety of food and beverage options including beverage packages, a subsidised bar, a personal bar tab, or a cash bar. You’re also welcome to bring your own suppliers — so whatever the occasion, we have you sorted.
