This message is to communicate the timing and impact of building work on DPSLSC facilities:
The period 22/10/18 to 23/11/18 – Newcastle City Council (NCC) will carry out refurbishment of the club spaces in the northern building. See attached proposed site establishment plan.
The refurbishment project planned for the lower level of the southern building is now in the tender stage. It is expected to engage the successful contractor and commence work by late January 2019. The building project will have a duration of approximately 3-4 months. During this time, the Club activities will operate from the northern building and/or temporary accommodation. The upstairs area and its use should largely be unaffected.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience, but the outcome will be better facilities for all members and in turn enhance our capability to support the community and function as a Club.
