As you will be aware, the greater Hunter region including the Upper Hunter & Lake Macquarie are going into a snap 7day lockdown from 5pm, 5 August. We are now under the same restrictions as Greater Sydney.
Unfortunately, this means all club activities must cease from 5pm Thursday 5 August – there is to be no training (Education or Surf Sports) at the club and no group water training sessions effective from 5pm 5 August.
The only reason to leave your homes are:
obtain food or other goods and services
in your local government area, within 10km of your home, if reasonably practicable
for the personal needs of the household or for other household purposes (including pets)
for vulnerable people
only one person per household may leave the home to obtain food or other goods and services each day (you may take a dependent person with you if that person cannot be left at home on their own).
